Response to Reading
As a class we are reading and sharing responses to 'I am not a label'. 'I am not a label' is a book of 34 disabled artists, thinkers, athletes and activists from past and present by Cerrie Burnell. It is beautifully illustrated (Lauren Baldo, artist) anthology that introduces young readers to disabled role models.
BoomReader
All reading activity is recorded onto the digital reading record app BoomReader. It is a quick and easy way to track reading both at school and at home.
Readers of the week
Every week we track and recognise the top six children that have added the largest number of entries onto BoomReader. Could it be your child this week? Please continue to listen to your child read and ask questions about the text.
In science, we have recently learned about forces in action. The below photographs show the children investigating gravity.
