Benchmarking is the process of comparing a school’s spending with similar schools and schools with similar challenges. It allows us school to look at our spending in different areas such as staffing, supplies and services.
The GOV.UK Financial Benchmarking website enables us to make these comparisons and to identify areas where spending may need review.
Bournehall is in the unique position of being both the lead and banker school for DSPL Area 9 and for SWHP. Until 2018-2019, these budgets were not separated from the school's by the local authority before submission to the DfE - so the longer 'trend over time' data is not relevant.
